Whenever I get the chance I love to present using the medium of video games, I feel it is the most relevent and relatable way to present to anyone in the games industry. As such I have created multiple presentations in unreal engine over the years. These started as simple slide shows inside a 3D environment, but most recently I have made a presentation that ran inside a working game.

The game itself is a simple stealth game, you are a cyborg assassin and must plant bombs in a space ship to destroy it. You have no weapons so getting caught is not an option. Whilst the game is simple it is obviously scaleable and could include many other mechanics that would constitute a complete game.

The reason I like to present this way is twofold. First it allows me to do something creative and flex my artistic muscles, secondarily it also gets the viewer to consider how they could incorporate their love for games in to other things they do. I think this is an imperative aspect in educating the game devs of tomorrow to utilise their skills as much as possible and, I believe, absolutely aids in closing the skills gap between education and industry.
